TreeHouse Villas Koh Yao
Custom Specification
50 Pieces
On-Property Storytelling
TreeHouse Villas commissioned a collection of 50 custom-branded beach bags, designed both for guests to use during their stay and for sale through the resort shop.
We began at the property: understanding how the bags would be used, studying the resort’s atmosphere and visual language, and considering how the finished collection could later be photographed within its setting.
An initial prototype allowed us to refine the scale and placement of the TreeHouse logo, adjust the shape and length of the handles, and explore different lining options. The first 15 pieces then entered use at the resort, providing practical feedback before the remainder of the collection was completed.
When the team chose to reconsider the lining, we developed two further samples around a darker specification. Once the preferred option was confirmed, the remaining pieces were produced to the revised specification by our team in Phatthalung.
Across subsequent visits, we created approximately 80 photography and video assets for the property. The creative direction placed TreeHouse itself at the centre of the story—showing the bags within its villas, dining spaces, resort shop and island setting rather than presenting them as isolated products.
The resulting Places feature extended the collaboration beyond production, connecting the finished objects to the property, its guests and the people who made them.
